
Connecting Minds hosts several events to allow peers from across the continent to mingle and build connections. Remember, a conference isn't all about work. So come out and have some fun.

Connecting Minds is proud to host a Friday evening reception, complete with entertainment and light snacks. The reception runs from 5:30 - 7:00 pm on Friday evening, on campus, following sessions. In the past, this has been a highly successful event at which both local and visiting students have enjoyed getting to know one another.
The cost for attending this event couldn't be better: it's FREE!

Following Friday's conference sessions, we invite all attendees to join us for a mixer at the Hilton Hotel. This informal event, hosted in the warm Hilton environment, runs from 7:30 -11 on Friday evening and is a great venue for mingling and chatting with students from across North America.
This year, the Hilton has offered Connecting Minds attendees the use of their entire restaurant!! Order great appies, full meals, and tasty drinks off the menu. Vegetarian options and non-alcoholic beverages are also available!
